Jason Feffer invites us into the practice of walking prayer. This ordinary practice opens us up to God’s presence in the seemingly mundane moments of life. When we walk beside Jesus, we can learn to hear God’s voice more clearly in our everyday lives. Use this guide for the practice of walking with Jesus.

Hi Jason,
So glad you are enjoying the Colorado Trail!! What segment are you on? We are headed out there on Monday for several weeks. As you walked, I heard you taking in air and then breathing it out. As our lungs were taxed, God’s breath is always available for us to take in. And then as I breathe out I respond to God and to others. There is a breathing in and a breathing out that sustains that walk. In Job 33:4, it says “The Spirit of God has made me, the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” As I walk through life, every breath I take in is the very breath of God that is breathing into me. I breath in His abiding presence and I breath out gratitude, compassion, peace, love, or sometimes I breath out, anxiety, fear, and a host of other emotions. I loved hearing your constant footsteps. It is the sound of life being lived. With every breath I take in, I breathe in God’s breath of life, and with every breath I breathe out, I give out life to others, either consolation or desolation. What a great auditory reminder of the rhythm of life!! God bless. Carol
I love it, Carol! I was at the foot of the Chalk Cliffs of Mt. Princeton. Enjoy your time there!
