This fall, we continue to explore God’s invitation to be a hesed-shaped community. Hesed is the Hebrew word which can be translated as the tangible intersection of love, generosity, and commitment.
This week, Father Michael Sparough guided our exploration of life in community through his experience as a Jesuit and the community of the disciples. It is in community, Father Michael said, that we learn to be followers of Jesus.
Our invitation this week is to continue to sit in the examen Father Michael led which helps us reflect on our experience with The Practice Church. A podcast guide to this practice can be found below.
You can find the Order of Practice here.
If The Practice Church has been meaningful to you, would you consider supporting the work of The Practice Church with a tax-deductible gift?
If you are committed to being a part of the local Practice Church community, would you take a moment to join the Plant Team?
We also shared this week the invitation to nominate members for the new council. Would you pray and consider who God might be inviting you to nominate?
If you would like to stay up to date on The Practice Church, join the Practice mailing list.
And a guide in our practice from this week can be found below. It is directed specifically to our expereince with The Practice Church. If you belong to another local community, you can easily substitute your community for The Practice.
