We don’t often think of study as a spiritual practice, but it can be. Seeing study as a spiritual practice helps us to move beyond acquiring or accumulating knowledge so that what we learn leads us to wonder and worship.
This week, Eric Case encouraged us to recognize truth is not an axiom, but a person. How will we respond to truth, when Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Kingdom Practices
Eric invited us to consider what question we have for God. What are we curious about? This week, let’s continue to explore whatever question came to mind with the practice of study. You may bring your one question to one book of scripture with the inductive study method. Maybe you will do some research with a helpful book, or even spend time in conversation with a trusted friend. Eric also also shared a helpful handout which you can find here.
