This fall, we continue to explore God’s invitation to be a hesed-shaped community. Hesed is the Hebrew word which can be translated as the tangible intersection of love, generosity, and commitment.
This week, Sharon Swing asked us to consider how God is inviting us to create space for our souls to show themselves to one another in community. These, Sharon said, are “holy ground moments.”
For us to continue cultivating a hesed-shaped community, we shared the resources of One Life Maps. If you are a part of our local community, we are providing copies of the My Life Now map for us to share with one another in Practice Tables and with a close friend. If you couldn’t be with us in person, let us know, so we can get you a copy of the map.
Finally, Sharon mentioned some listening guidelines on Sunday that help us create spaces where it is safe for us to be honestly present with one another. Please spend a moment with the listening guidelines here.
