In this series, our desire is to soak ourselves in the character of God as it is described in Exodus 34:6-7. It’s our hope that we can have a real encounter with the compassion, grace, slowness to anger, loyal-love, and faithfulness of God in this season. This week, we considered the relational and action oriented realities of God’s faithfulness, and we boldly asked God to demonstrate faithfulness in our lives.
Kingdom Practices
In our practice, we contemplated God’s faithfulness artistically. This week, let’s keep our artistic prayers with us as a reminder to be watchful for demonstrations of God’s faithfulness in our lives. You may choose to rest in examples of God’s trustworthiness in the past or sit in open handed hopefulness for the way you desire God to show faithfulness in this season. It is a bold prayer (though one I think God loves to answer) to ask God to demonstrate faithfulness, so will you also join me in praying for our community, asking that each of us will have an encounter with our faithful God this week?
You can find the Order of Practice here, and a copy of the handout used in our practice here.
